images from today’s run
Actually it should be “image” from today’s run. (Again, Hodgkin’s Disease has made me too lazy to go change something on my blog.)
Or is it a frog? Does anyone out there know? It was on a river bank if that helps.
Whatever it is, I wasn’t going to kiss it and see if turned into a prince.
1. Knowing my luck, it would turn into a turkey just like in the Capital One commercial and then said turkey would attack me for eating a turkey sandwich for lunch.
2. Also knowing my luck, it was covered in germs of some sort.
Whatever it is, it looks like the toad / frog I saw on Little Round Top at Gettysburg in the summer of 2005.
As you can see, I saw this guy at night (he was sitting on a rock near Warren’s staute for anyone familiar with the battlefield). But they do really look like the same type of frog / toad, don’t they?
So who is going to be the lucky person who ids my frog / toad?
(I do wonder what my doctor would say if I told him I had kissed a frog. He probably would have me locked up or something.)

This looks like a really fun site to learn more about them!
Karen (we hear frogs from our pond, but rarely get to see them)
Hi Karen,
I think you are right. There is an “Eastern American Toad” that lives in all the counties of Ohio. It looks A LOT like my toad.
